शराबी समझता है की मैं शराब पीता हूँ। वास्तव में शराब उसे पी लेती है। बीडी पीने वाले को बीडी पी लेती है। बीडी पीने से ६४ बीमारियों की नींव पड़ जाती है. सुबह को जो खाली पेट चाय पीते है उनका वीर्य कमजोर हो जाता है । ओज नष्ट हो जाता है।
हल्के खान पान और हल्के विचारो से भी बचना है । हल्के संग से भी बचना है। कोई आदमी गरीब है , उसका संग करना हल्का नहीं है । जो तुच्छ चीजे पाकर, भोगी जीवन जीकर अपने को भाग्यवान मानते है उनका संग हल्का संग है । एसे लोगो की बुद्धि तो हल्की है ही ऐसे लोगो को जो बड़ा मानता है उन पर ज्यादा दया आती है । जिसके पास अधिक सुविधा है वह बड़ा नहीं है। बड़ा आदमी तो वह है जो बिना सुविधा के भी आनंदित रह सकता है, प्रसन्न रह सकता है।
दिले तस्वीरे है यार जबकि गर्दन झुका ली और मुलाकात कर ली ।

श्री रामकृष्ण परमहंस कहा करते थे : किसी सुन्दर स्त्री पर नजर पड़ जाये तो उसमे माँ जगदम्बा के दर्शन करो । ऐसा विचार करो की यह अवश्य देवी का अवतार है , तभी तो इसमें इतना सौन्दर्य है। माँ प्रसन्न होकर इस रूप में दर्शन दे रही है , ऐसा समझकर सामने खड़ी स्त्री को मन ही मन ही मन प्रणाम करो . इससे तुम्हारे भीतर काम विकार नहीं उठ सकेगा। पराई स्त्री को माता के समान और पराए धन को मिटटी के धेले के समान जानो ।

जैसे बीज की साधना वृक्ष होने के सिवाय और कुछ नहीं, उसी प्रकार जीव की साधना आत्मस्वरूप को जानने के सिवाय और कुछ नहीं। तुम्हारे जीवन में जितना संयम और वाणी में जितनी सच्चाई होगी, उनती ही तुम्हारी और तुम जिससे बात करते हो उसकी आद्यात्मिक उन्नति होगी। अपने दोषों को खोजो। जो अपने दोष देख सकता है , वह कभी न कभी उन दोषों को दूर करने के लिए भी प्रयत्नशील होगा ही। एसे मनुष्य की उन्नति निश्चित है ।

पूज्य गुरुदेव ने महिलाओं की समस्याओं को घरेलु उपचारों से आसानी से ठीक होने की कुछ युक्तियाँ बताई ।

सदगुरुदेव ने महिलाओं कि तमाम समस्याओ के लिए ये उपाय बताया और जरा जरा बातो मे डरने की आवश्यकता नही और ऑपरेशन भी नही करे ऐसा भी कहा है..

लेडीज की प्रोब्लेम्स(मासिक धर्म कि समस्याये) के लिए उपाय:-

गुरुदेव ने कहा कि देवियों को मासिक धर्म कि प्रोब्लेम हो तो पैन किलर /इंजेक्शन न लें, बहुत नुकसान करते हैं…कोई भी स्त्रियों की गुप्त बिमारी हो, रात को पानी रख लो सवा लीटर, ताम्बे का बरतन हो तो ठीक है, नहीं तो किसी में, सवेरे मंजन कर के, ब्रश करने से फायदा नहीं होता, मंजन करना चाहिऐ, मैं (गुरुदेव) भी मंजन करता हूँ…मंजन करके तुलसी के ५ पत्ते खा लिए…लेकिन रविवार को तुलसी नहीं खाना, नहीं तोडना…
५ पत्ते खा लिए और पानी पी लिया…वैसे तो सूरज उगने पर ही पानी पीना चाहिऐ, रात्री को पानी पीना जठरा मन्द करता है…रात्री को देर भोजन करना बिमारी लाता है॥और दिन में भोजन कर के सोना बिमारी लाएगा…यह बातें समझ लो तो आप निरोग रह सकते हो…तो वोह पानी पी लिया सवा लीटर, थोडा घूमे फिरे, ८ दिन के अन्दर कब्जियात की बिमारी, पेट साफ नहीं आता तो साफ आने लगेगा…मासिक में पीड़ा होती है तो पीड़ा मिट जाएगा, जादा/कम आता है तो ठीक हो जाएगा…नहीं आता है, संतान नहीं होती है…आने लगेगा, और संतान का मंत्र भी दे देंगे, संतान भी हो जायेगी…ऐसे लोग थे डॉक्टर बोलते थे संतान नहीं होगी, ऐसे लोगों के घर में अभी ३-३ संतानें खेल रही हैं…

chhal dharm :- kuchh log dikhave ke liye, shradha nahi lekin aarati kar rahe ..patni kar rahi.. ” mai bhi kar raha hun maharaj “.. aap ko dandavat kiye.. “mai bhi samiti mey hun..” isko bolate chhal dharam..aise rushi parsad ki sewa be-imani se kare to isase nahi karo to achha hai ..jo imandar hai un ko aanand aayega.. rushi prasad ke members ki 16 tarikh ko baithak thi..mai nahi jata kabhi..lekin is baar socha chalo baith jate….to ek advocate bole ,” meri membership chhin li gayi hai, mera kuchh bhi aparadh nahi tha..aparadh naa ho aur phir bhi sewa nikal li gayi , aur wo bhi advocate ki…. to pata chala ki inhone membarship to nibhayi hai,lekin usaka paisa dusari jagah laga diye.. ye chhal-dharm ho gaya na advocate sahab ..usaka nam nahi leta..usaki badanami nahi karunga..

aabhas dharm :- makar sankranti ka ddan dena hai, ekadashi ka daan dena hai to apane hi ghar ke kaamwale ko , nokaro ko de diya …ekadashi ko , navaratri ko 12 kanya ko khana khilana hai to apane beti ki kanya rishtedaro ko bulaaya ye dharm aabhaas dharm hai ..jo dharm ka kewal aabhaas denewala hai isliye is ko “abhas dharm” kahate hai…

upama dharm :- bina dekhe , bina soche ..usane kiya to apana bhi karo..phir ye karane se kya phal hai ye bhi nahi sochate… dikhaavati.. ‘hum bade tapasvi hai, paidal nange pair jaate’.. jaise kayi log nange pair chalate, to apan bhi chale..pahala jamana tha..log nange pair paidal yatra karate..wo jamana alag tha..tub hariyali thi, to aalhad milata nange pair chalane , thakan bhi nahi lagati.. vinoba bhave bolate ki , “ham bhi upama dharm mey phisal gaye the.. parinam pairo ko phaphule..dambar ki sadak hoti hai ..aankhe kharab ho gayi.. “

अधरं मधुरं वदनं मधुरं नयनं मधुरं हसितं मधुरं

उनके अधर (होंठ) मधुर हैं, शब्द मधुर हैं, मानो शब्दों की माला हो, उनके मुख से प्रसन्नता झलकती है और हमें भी प्रसन्न करती है! उनके नेत्रों से करुना बरसती है, प्रेम बरसता है! सांसारिक आदमी तो विकारी दृष्टि से देखता है पर गुरुदेव ब्रह्मभाव से देखते हैं! उनका ह्रदय भी मधुर, उनके ह्रदय मे भी मधुरता है!

वचनं मधुरं चरितं मधुरं वसनं मधुरं वलितं मधुरं,
चलितं मधुरं भ्रमितं मधुरं मधुराधिपते रखिलं मधुरं !!

उनके वचन मधुर, उनका चरित्र मधुर, वस्त्र मधुर ! बापूजी के वस्त्रों की श्वेतिमा हमें ह्रदय की श्वेतिमा की प्रेरणा देती है ! ह्रदय की श्वेतिमा, सादगी की प्रेरणा ! वे किसी को प्रभावित नहीं करना चाहते परन्तु प्रकाशित करना चाहते हैं !

वेणु मधुरो रेणू मधुरो पाणी मधुरः पादौ मधुरो
नृत्यं मधुर सख्यं मधुरं मधुराधिपते रखिलं मधुरं !!

वेणु का एक अर्थ है श्री कृष्ण जो बंसी बजाते हैं वो मधुर है ! गुरुदेव की वाणी मधुर है ! रेणू यानी गुरु की चरण रज वो भी मधुर है ! नृत्य भी मधुर है ! बापूजी जब जाते वक्त नृत्य करके जाते हैं तो ऐसा लगता है साक्षात् चैतन्य महाप्रभु हैं ! उन्हें ऐसे देखकर तो जीवनभर जिसने नृत्य न किया हो वो भी खुशी से नृत्य करने लगे !

गीतं मधुरं पीतं मधुरं भुक्तं मधुरं सुक्तम मधुरं
रूपम मधुरं तिलकं मधुरं मधुराधिपते रखिलं मधुरं!!

उनके जो गीत हैं जो कीर्तन है वो भी मधुर है उनका रूप मधुर है हमें शान्ति और आनंद प्रदान करता है उनका दर्शन ! उनका तिलक भी मधुर है हमारे गुरुदेव मधुर ही मधुर हैं !!

प्रभु प्रीत का ये मीठा , अनुभव हुआ है प्यारा
बेकार जाता जीवन , तुमने प्रभु संवारा

हरि नाम का खजाना , भीतर दिखा रहे हो
जिसे ढूंढते हैं बाहर , ख़ुद में बता रहे हो
बिन सदगुरु के बन्दे , इसको ना साध पाये
तुमने ही दया करके , बिगड़े काज बनाये ।

तेरे दरश का प्यासा , मनवा ये रो रहा है
कैसे संभालूँ इसको , सुध अपनी खो रहा है
नैनों से बहते मोती , छुपते नहीं छुपाये
तुमने ही दया करके , बिगड़े काज बनाये ।

"शुभ" दोनों हाथ फैले , बापू तुम्हारे आगे
नश्वर की नाही इच्छा , भक्ति प्रभु की मांगे
ऐसी अवस्था ला दो , हम ब्रह्मज्ञान पायें
तुमने ही दया करके , बिगड़े काज बनाये ।

मेरी हैसियत ही क्या थी , जो तुम ना साथ होते
जीवन ये जा रहा था , कभी हँसते कभी रोते

सूरत थी बालक की सलोनी, आते ही कर दी अनहोनी
समाज में थी मान्यता जैसी , प्रचलित एक कहावत ऐसी
तीन बहन के बाद जो , आता पुत्र वह त्रेखन कहलाता
होता अशुभ अमंगल कारी , दरिद्रता लाता है भारी
विपरीत किन्तु दिया दिखाई , घर में जैसे लक्ष्मी आई
तिरलोकी का आसन डोला , कुबेर ने भण्डार ही खोला
मान प्रतिष्ठा और बढाई , सब के मन सुख शांति छाई

तेजोमय बालक बढा , आनंद बढा अपार ।
शील शांति का आत्मधन , करने लगा विस्तार ॥

एक दिना थाउमल द्वारे , कुलगुरु परशुराम पधारे
ज्यूँ ही वे बालक को निहारे , अनायास ही सहसा पुकारे
यह नहीं बालक साधारण , दैवी लक्षण तेज हैं कारण
नेत्रों में है सात्विक लक्षण , इसके कार्य बडे विलक्षण
यह तो महान संत बनेगा , लोगों का उद्धार करेगा
सुनी गुरु की भविष्य वाणी , गद गद हो गए सिरुमलानी
माता ने भी माथा चूमा , हर कोई ले करके घूमा

ज्ञानी वैरागी पूर्व का , तेरे घर में आये ।
जन्म लिया है योगी ने , पुत्र तेरा कहलाये ॥
पावन तेरा कुल हुआ , जननी कोख कृतार्थ ।
नाम अमर तेरा हुआ , पूर्ण चार पुरुषार्थ ॥

सैतालिस में देश विभाजन , पाक में छोडा भू पशु औ धन
भारत अमदाबाद में आये , मणिनगर में शिक्षा पाए
बड़ी विलक्षण स्मरण शक्ति , असुमल की आशु युक्ति
तीव्र बुद्धि एकाग्र नम्रता , त्वरित कार्य और सहनशीलता
आसुमल प्रसन्न मुख रहते , शिक्षक हसमुख भाई कहते
पिस्ता बादाम काजू अखरोट , भरे जेब खाते भर पेटा
दे दे मक्खन मिश्री कूजा , माँ ने सिखाया ध्यान और पूजा
ध्यान का स्वाद लगा तब ऐसे , रहे न मछली जल बिन जैसे
हुए ब्रह्मविद्या से युक्त वे , वही है विद्या या विमुक्तये
बहुत रात तक पैर दबाते , भरे कंठ पितु आशीष पाते

पुत्र तुम्हारा जगत में , सदा रहेगा नाम ।
लोगों के तुमसे सदा , पूरन होंगे काम ॥

सिर से हटी पिता की छाया , तब माया ने जाल फैलाया
बडे भाई का हुआ दुसाशन , व्यर्थ हुए माँ के आश्वासन
छूटा वैभव स्कूली शिक्षा , शुरू हो गई अग्नि परीक्षा
गए सिद्धपुर नौकरी करने , कृष्ण के आगे बहाए झरने
सेवक सखा भाव से भीजे , गोविन्द माधव तब रीझे
एक दिना एक माई आई , बोली हे भगवन सुखदायी
पड़े पुत्र दुख मुझे झेलने , खून केस दो बेटे जेल में
बोले आसु सुख पावेंगे , निर्दोष छुट जल्दी आवेंगे
बेटे घर आये माँ भागी , आसुमल के पावों लगी

आसुमल का पुष्ट हुआ , आलोकिक प्रभाव ।
वाक सिद्धि की शक्ति का , हो गया प्रादुर्भाव ॥

बरस सिद्धपुर तीन बिताये , लौट अहमदाबाद में आये
करने लगी लक्ष्मी नर्तन , किया भाई का दिल परिवर्तन
दरिद्रता को दूर कर दिया , घर वैभव भरपूर कर दिया
सिनेमा उन्हें कभी न भाये , बलात ले गए रोते आये
जिस माँ ने था ध्यान सिखाया , उसको ही अब रोना आया
माँ करना चाहती थी शादी , आसुमल का मन वैरागी
फिर भी सबने शक्ति लगाई , जबरन कर दी उनकी सगाई
शादी को जब हुआ उनका मन , आसुमल कर गए पलायन

पंडित कहा गुरु समर्थ को , रामदास सावधान ।
शादी फेरे फिरते हुए , भागे छुडा कर जान ॥

करत खोज में निकल गया दम , मिले भरुच में अशोक आश्रम
कठिनाई से मिला रास्ता , प्रतिष्ठा का दिया वास्ता
घर में लाये आजमाये गुर , बारात ले पहुंचे आदिपुर
विवाह हुआ पर मन द्रढाया , भगत ने पत्नी को समझाया
अपना व्यवहार होगा ऐसे , जल में कमल रहता है जैसे
सांसारिक व्यवहार तब होगा , जब मुझे साक्षात्कार होगा
साथ रहे ज्यूँ आत्मा काया , साथ रहे वैरागी माया

अनश्वर हूँ मैं जानता , सत-चित हूँ आनंद ।
स्थिति में जीने लगूँ , होवे परमानन्द ॥

पुनि पूजा पुनः संकल्पाये , ईश प्राप्ति आशीष पाए
आये कृष्ण लीला स्थली में , वृन्दावन की कुञ्ज गलिन में
कृष्ण ने मन में ऐसा ढाला , वे जा पहुंचे नैनिताला
वहाँ थे श्रोत्रिय ब्रह्मनिष्ठित , स्वामी लीलाशाह प्रतिष्टित
भीतर तरल थे बाहर कठोरा , निर्विकल्प ज्यूँ कागज़ कोरा
पूर्ण स्वतंत्र परम उपकारी , ब्रह्मस्थित आत्मसाक्षात्कारी

ईश-कृपा बिन गुरु नहीं गुरु बिना नहीं ज्ञान ।
ज्ञान बिना आत्मा नहीं गावहि वेद-पुराण ॥

जानने को साधक की कोटी , सत्तर दिन तक हुई कसौटी
कंचन को अग्नि में तपाया , गुरु ने आसुमल बुलवाया
कहा गृहस्थ हो कर्म करना , ध्यान भजन घर पर ही करना
आज्ञा मानी घर पर आये , पक्ष में मोटी-कोरल धाए
नर्मदा तट पर ध्यान लगाए , लालजी महाराज आकर्षाये
सप्रेम शील स्वामी पँह धाए , दत्त-कुटीर में साग्रह लाये
उमडा प्रभु प्रेम का चस्का , अनुष्ठान चालीस दिवस का
मरे छः शत्रु स्थिति पायी , ब्रह्मनिष्ठ्ता सहज समाई
शुभाशुभ सम रोना-गाना , ग्रीष्म ठंड मान और अपमाना
तृप्त हो खाना भूख अरु प्यास , महल और कुटिया आस निरास
भक्ति योग ज्ञान अभ्यासी , हुए समान मगहर और कासी

भाव ही कारण ईश है , न स्वर्ण काठ पाषाण ।
सत-चित-आनंद रूप है , व्यापक है भगवान ॥
ब्रह्मेशान जनार्दन , सारद शेष गणेश ।
निराकार साकार है , है सर्वत्र भवेश ॥

हुए आसुमल ब्रह्म-अभ्यासी , जन्म अनेको लागे बासी
दूर हो गयी आधि व्याधि , सिद्ध हो गयी सहज समाधि
इक रात नदी तट मन आकर्षा , आई जोर से आंधी वर्षा
बंद मकान बरामदा खाली , बैठे वहीं समाधि लगा ली
देखा किसी ने सोचा डाकू , लाये लाठी भाला चाकू
दौडे चीखे शोर मच गया , टूटी समाधि ध्यान खिंच गया
साधक उठा थे बिखरे केशा , राग द्वेष ना किंचित लेशा
सरल लोगों ने साधू माना , हत्यारों ने काल ही जाना
भैरव देख दुष्ट घबराए , पहलवान ज्यूँ मल्ल ही पाए
कामी जनों ने आशिक माना , साधुजन कीन्हें परनामा

एक दृष्टि देखे सभी चले शांत गंभीर ।
सशस्त्रों की भीड़ को सहज गए वे चीर ॥

माता आई धर्म की सेवी , साथ में पत्नी लक्ष्मी देवी
दोनों फूट-फूट के रोई , रुदन देख करुना भी रोई
संत लालजी हृदय पसीजा , हर दर्शक आंसू में भीजा
कहा सभी ने आप जइयो , आसुमल बोले की भाइयों
चालीस दिवस हुआ नही पूरा , अनुष्ठान है मेरा अधूरा
आसुमल ने छोडी तितिक्षा , माँ पत्नी ने की प्रतीक्षा
जिस दिन गाँव से हुई विदाई जार जार रोए लोग लुगाई
अहमदाबाद को हुए रवाना , मिया-गाँव से किया पयाना
मुम्बई गए गुरु की चाह , मिले वहीं पे लीलाशाह
परम पिता ने पुत्र को देखा , सूर्य ने घट जल में पेखा
घटक तोड़ जल जल में मिलाया , जल प्रकाश आकाश में छाया

आसोज सुद दो दिवस , संवत बीस इक्कीस ।

देह सभी मिथ्या हुई जगत हुआ निस्सार ।
हुआ आत्मा से तभी अपना साक्षात्कार ॥

परम स्वतंत्र पुरुष दर्शाया , जीव गया और शिव को पाया
जान लिया हूँ शांत निरंजन , लागू मुझे न कोई बन्धन
यह जगत सारा है नश्वर , मैं ही शाश्वत एक अनश्वर
दीद है दो पर दृष्टि एक है , लघु गुरु में वही एक है
सर्वत्र एक किसे बतलाये , सर्व व्याप्त कहाँ आये जाये
अनंत शक्तिवाला अविनाशी, रिद्धि सिद्धि उसकी दासी
सारा ही ब्रह्माण्ड पसारा , चले उसकी इच्छा अनुसारा
यदि वह संकल्प चलाये , मुर्दा भी जीवित हो जाये

ब्राह्मी स्थिति प्राप्त कर , कार्य रहे न शेष ।
मोह कभी न ठग सके , इच्छा नहीं लवलेश ॥
पूर्ण गुरु कृपा मिली , पूर्ण गुरु का ज्ञान ।
आसुमल से हो गए , साई आसाराम ॥

जाग्रत स्वप्न सुषुप्ति चेते , ब्रह्मानंद का आनंद लेते
खाते पीते मौन या कहते , ब्रह्मानंद मस्ती में रहते
रहो गृहस्थ गुरु का आदेश , गृहस्थ साधु करो उपदेश
किये गुरु ने वारे न्यारे , गुजरात डीसा गाँव पधारे
मृत गाय दिया जीवन दाना , तब से लोगों ने पहचाना
द्वार पे कहते नारायण हरि , लेने जाते कभी मधुकरी
तब से वे सत्संग सुनाते , सभी आरती शांति पाते
जो आया उद्धार कर दिया , भक्त का बेडा पार कर दिया
कितने मरणासन्न जिलाए , व्यसन मांस और मद्य छुडाये

एक दिन मन उकता गया , किया डीसा से कूच ।
आई मौज फकीर की , दिया झोपड़ा फूँक ॥

वे नारेश्वर धाम पधारे , जा पहुंचे नर्मदा किनारे
मीलों पीछे छोडा मंदिर , गए घोर जंगल के अन्दर
घने वृक्ष तले पत्थर पर , बैठे ध्यान निरंजन का धर
रात गयी प्रभात हो आई बाल रवि ने सूरत दिखाई
प्रातः पक्षी कोयल कूकंता , छूटा ध्यान उठे तब संता
प्रातर्विधि निवृत हो आये , तब आभास क्षुधा का पाए
सोचा मैं न कहीं जाऊँगा , यहीं बैठ कर अब खाऊँगा
जिसको गरज होगी आएगा सृष्टि कर्ता खुद लाएगा
ज्यूँ ही मन विचार वे लाये , त्यों ही दो किसान वहाँ आये
दोनों सिर पर बांधे साफा , खाद्य पेय लिए दोनों हाथा
बोले जीवन सफल है आज , अर्घ्य स्वीकारो महाराज
बोले संत और पे जाओ जो है तुम्हारा उसे खिलाओ
बोले किसान आपको देखा , स्वप्न में मार्ग रात को देखा
हमारा न कोई संत है दूजा , आओ गाँव करें तुमरी पूजा
आसाराम तब मन में धारे , निराकार आधार हमारे
पिया दूध थोडा फल खाया , नदी किनारे जोगी धाय

गांधीनगर गुजरात में , है मोटेरा ग्राम ।
ब्रह्मनिष्ठ श्री संत का , यहीं है पावन धाम ॥
आत्मानंद में मस्त है , करे वेदान्ती खेल ।
भक्ति योग और ज्ञान का , सदगुरु करते मेल ॥
साधिकाओं का अलग , आश्रम नारी उत्थान ।
नारी शक्ति जागृत सदा , जिसका नहीं बयान ॥

बालक वृद्ध और नर नारी , सभी प्रेरणा पाए भारी
एक बार जो दर्शन पाए , शांति का अनुभव हो जाये
नित्य विविध प्रयोग कराये , नादानुसंधान बताये
नाभि से वे ओम कहलायें , हृदय से वे राम कहलायें
सामान्य ध्यान जो लगाये , उन्हें वे गहरे में ले जायें
सबको निर्भय योग सिखाएं , सबका आत्मोत्थान करायें
हजारों के रोग मिटाए , और लाखों के शोक छुडाये
अमृतमय प्रसाद जब देते , भक्त का रोग शोक हर लेते
जिसने नाम का दान लिया है , गुरु अमृत का पान किया है
उनका योग क्षेम वे रखते , वे न तीन तापों से तपते
धर्म कामार्थ मोक्ष वे पाते , आपद रोगों से बच जाते
सभी शिष्य रक्षा पाते हैं , सूक्ष्म शरीर गुरु आते हैं
सचमुच गुरु हैं दीन दयाल , सहज ही कर देते हैं निहाल
वे चाहते सब झोली भर ले , निज आत्मा का दर्शन कर लें
एक सौ आठ जो पाठ करेंगे , उनके सारे काज सरेंगे
गंगाराम शील है दासा , होंगी पूर्ण सभी अभिलाषा

वराभयदाता सदगुरु , परम ही भक्त कृपाल ।
निश्चल प्रेम से जो भजे , साँई करे निहाल ॥
मन में नाम तेरा रहे , मुख पे रहे सुगीत ।
हमको इतना दीजिये , रहे चरण में प्रीत ॥

दुखों से अगर चोट खायी ना होती ।
तुम्हारी प्रभु याद आयी ना होती ॥

जगाते ना ग़र तुम गुरू ज्ञान द्वारा ।
कभी हमसे कोई भलाई ना होती ॥
कहीँ भी हमें चैन मिलता ना जग में ।
शरण यदि परम शांतिदायी ना होती ॥
सदा बंद रहती ये आँखें ह्रदय की ।
जो अपनी खबर तुमसे पायी ना होती ॥

(Excerpts from the Satsang of Param Pujya Sant Shri Asaramji Bapu)

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated on the birthday of Lord Ganesh (Ganesha), the god of wisdom and prosperity on the fourth day of the moons bright fortnight, or period from new moon in the lunar month of Bhadrapada। The celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi continue for five, seven, or ten days. Some even stretch it to twenty one days, but ten the most popularly celebrated. In the tradition of the right hand path the first day is the most important. In the left hand path tradition the final day is most important.

Though there is a tale for the day that "why looking the moon is harmful this day?". Here it is :

Once Lord Ganesha was walking in His own delightful rhythm। It was the fourth lunar day (chaturthi)। The Moon god saw him। The Moon god was very vain about his good looks। He said with a bitter sarcasm to Lord Ganesha, "What a beautiful form you have! A big belly and an elephant's head...".

Lord Ganesha realized that the Moon's vanity will not go without his being appropriately punished for the same. Lord Ganesha said, "Your face will not be worth showing to anybody."

The Moon did not rise after that. The gods were worried, "The whole department that nourishes the earth has been closed! How will the medicinal herbs be enriched? How will the affairs of the world be conducted?"

Lord Brahma said, "The Moon's insolence has angered Lord Ganesha."

The gods worshipped Lord Ganesha in order to propitiate him. When Lord Ganesha was pleased, the Moon's face became worth showing to others. The Moon god prayed to Lord Ganesha with hymns.

Lord Ganesha said, "Your face will be worth showing on other days of the year, but on the fourth lunar day of the bright fortnight of Bhadrapada, the day when you insulted me, whoever sees you will be slandered with a serious blemish within a year. This is necessary to give the message to the people that 'No one should be vain regarding one's physical beauty and charm.'

The Lord of all the gods and senses is the Self. You are ridiculing a Self-Realized personality like me? You are finding faults with my physical form and are proud of your external beauty? You are ignorant of Me, the Self, the source of all beauty, that lends beauty to your external form. That Self alone exists. He alone is seen in the forms of Lord Narayana, Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva as also in all beings. O Moon! Even your real Being is That very Self. Don't be proud of your external beauty."

Even the likes of Lord Krishna was accused of stealing the 'Syamantaka Gem', because He happened to see the Moon on that particular fourth lunar day. Even His brother Balrama joined the accusers; though, in fact, Lord Krishna had not stolen the 'Syamantaka Gem'.

Those who don't believe in the truth of this incident, who are sceptical of the scriptures, are invited to test its veracity by looking at the Moon on the fourth lunar day of the bright fortnight of Bhadrapada (Ganesh Chaturthi). A sceptic will pay the cost of disbelieving the scriptures retold in satsang. Within a year, he will be the victim of such a great blemish as will completely vitiate his dignity.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Ganesh Chaturthi falls this year on Saturday, 15th Sep'07. The Moon will set at 8:45 PM on this day. Take care not to see the Moon till then.

However, if you look at the Moon on the 3rd and 5th nights of that lunar month, the harmful effects caused by seeing the Moon on the 4th lunar night is countered. In any case, if by mistake you do happen to look at the Moon on this night, read or listen to the episode narrating the theft of the Syamantak Mani as described in the 56th and 57th chapters of the tenth Skanda of the Srimad Bhagawata.

तीन लोक के राजा बने सबके ह्रदय दुलारे थे ,
हरि भी गुरू चरणों मे बैठे सत्य है ! नहीं कहानी है ,
महिमा गुरू चरणों की वेदों ने भी बखानी है ।

श्री राम जी को जग पूजे वो पूजे नित गुरू चरनन को ,
गुरू वाशिष्ठ की चरण पादुका रख ली नित - नित दर्शन को ,
मर्यादापुरुषोत्तम बन गए बात सभी ने जानी है ,
महिमा गुरू चरणों की वेदों ने भी बखानी है ।

ऐसे ही हम साधक मिल कर चरण वंदना गाते हैं ,
संत शिरोमणि बापूजी के आशीर्वचन को पाते हैं ,
सुने धरा और नभ के वासी ये "शुभ" वाणी है ,
महिमा गुरू चरणों की वेदों ने भी बखानी है ।

Does anybody know about the precautions to be taken to a married couple in Chaturmas?

Pujay Bapu Ji has explained the same several times। I am sorry but I don't remember।
Please answer the following queries।
1) In which days should anyone not take Aaonla Churan?
2) Should a married couple take all Ekadashi fasts in Chaturmas?
3) What precautions one must take while taking food and juice?
4) question regarding sleeping : sleeping on earth or on bed etc।

Pujya Bapu Ji has confirmed and announced the next Poonam Satsang in Faridabad (Haryana). Pujya Shri ordered to all samiti to distribute harad tablets as prasad in own areas as was distributed in Rohini's satsang. The special harad packets(mixture of harad and gud) were distributed in Rohini's satsang also. Pujya Gurudev very much emphesized to take this mixture in these days. It's a remedy of four major problems, i.e. vaat, pitt, cough and amla(aam). The packets shall soon be available on nominal cost on almost all ashrams very soon.

Pujya Bapu ji also taught a new kind of Dhyan. say Hari om.. hari om.. slowly slowly and give motion to your body like from left to right and right to left. July 13, 2007 (Friday) is astrologically calculated and predicted to be the most beneficial day for spiritual aspirants.
Japa of Pranava mantra ( Aumkar mantra ("ॐ")) on the fourteenth moon night during the Ardra nakshtra(This year 13th July 2007) gives perpetual fruits.(Shiva Purana; Vidyeshwar Sanhita; Chapter 10)
PujyaShri has told Maha Ardra Nakshatra on 13 July 2007 is from Morning 5.00 AM to 07.30 PM Only(IST). (Exact Timings are approx - 05.11 AM to 07.14 PM)
All sadhaks must spend time on this day chanting "ॐ" Mantra .Mantra Jaap should be followed by the recitation of Shri Guru Gita Paath. Light diet and Maun are recommended.
By the blessings of his divine holiness Sai Asaramji Bapu, all are requested to kindly take as much benefit on this day by fasting, observing maun (silence) and chanting the mantra for as long as possible throughout the day. 1) Sharir swapna hai aur badalne wala hai. Isme asakti rahegi to dukho se peecha nahi chutega.2) main chetan swaroop hoon. Woh sat hai, chetan hai, gyan swaroop hai, anand swaroop hai.3) main duki hoon, main beemar hoon, main 60 saal ka hoon mera beta aisa hai... aadi aadi. yeh sabhi manyataye kalpanik hai."So sahib sat sada hazoore, andha janat ta ko doore."

Us sant ke bare me Akbar ko pata chala to woh bhi darshan karne ke liye gaya. Sant ke aage namaskar karke bola – Maharaj kisi vastu ki awasyakta ho to ni-sankoch bata dena.
Sant (former begger) said Raja ji, mujhe to kuch nahi chahiye lekin yadi aapko kuch zaroorat ho to mujhe bolna.

Bapu Ji added : "kahan to bhikari, lekin anter chetna ke prakash se kitna samarthya aa gaya"
Hum sab bhi athah samarthya hote hue bhikari hi hai. kyonki apni asli shakti ko nahi jaan paye. Kab tak asli sukh se door rahoge lala ? Ab to samajh jao. Shor sharabe ki apeksha shant hokar andar ka sukh pao.

Puranas contain many stories and legends describing the origin of this festival. According to one, during the samudra manthan, a pot of poison emerged from the ocean. This terrified the Gods and demons as the poison was capable of destroying the entire world, and they ran to Shiva for help. To protect the world from its evil effects, Shiva drank the deathly poison but held it in his throat instead of swallowing it. This made his throat turn blue, and he was given the name Neelakantha, the blue-throated one. Shivaratri is the celebration of this event by which Shiva saved the world.

Maha Shivaratri is celebrated throughout the country; it is particularly popular in Uttar Pradesh. Maha Shivratri falls on the I3th (or I4th) day of the dark half of 'Phalgun' (February-March). The name means "the night of Shiva". The ceremonies take place chiefly at night. This is a festival observed in honour of Lord Shiva and it is believed that on this day Lord Shiva was married to Parvati.
On this festival people worship 'Shiva - the Destroyer'. This night marks the night when Lord Shiva danced the 'Tandav'.

IT WAS a moment which once again reflected the faith of thousands of devotees towards their revered guru 'Bapuji' and his teachings to propagate Hindu culture.

Amidst chanting of Vedic mantras, about 25,000 devotees, including a large number of youths, took 'diksha' from Sant Shree Asaram Bapu 'Bapuji' at his Satsang Shivir in Ardh Kumbh Mela area on Thursday. This was the second occasion during the last nine days when such a large number of devotees gathered at the Satsang Shivir, from at least six states, to attend Bapu's three-day 'Shaktipat Camp' and take diksha from their guru.
The diksha programme started at 6.30 am in the morning. But Bapuji's disciples, including a large number of women and youth, started gathering at his Satsang Shivir at around 3 am. A large number of devotees stayed overnight at the camp to avoid any delay in getting diksha. After taking diksha, they remained at the camp till 12 noon and listened to the teachings of Bapuji in the most disciplined and dedicated manner.

Sant Shree Asarama Bapu gave some useful tips to maintain good health by practicing yoga and taking only Ayurvedic medicines. He said: "The pain killers destroy life cells in the body, due to which a person remains unhealthy all through his life. Imbalance of 'vaat', 'pitta' and 'kaf' leads to 132 types of health disorders in the body. This further creates hundreds of other complications. But by following simple steps like having powder of basil (tulsi) leaf in morning one can stay healthy all through his life. The basil seeds also stop aging." Bapuji said he found that people in Allahabad were addicted to tobacco and its products like pan masala. He said due to consumption of these products the people were suffering from skin diseases, gastric disorders and even cancer. "These people should consume butter milk and practice 'pranayam' to get rid of tobacco addiction," he suggested.

Bapuji said few Vedic mantras were very effective in the treatment of heart diseases, high BP, headache and stomach disorders. "Regular chanting of some mantras also gives relief to jaundice patients," he said.

THE LAST ‘shahi snan’ of Basant Panchami witnessed another congregation of devotees on the banks of the Sangam during the ongoing Ardh Kumbh Mela, on Tuesday.
With beads in their hand and chanting ‘mantras’, over 30,000 devotees from different parts of the country took Vedic ‘diksha’ from Asaram Bapu.

Seated under one roof, the devotees from West Bengal, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Gujarat, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh and different parts of Uttar Pradesh took the Vedic ‘diksha’ from Bapu in a blissful ambience.

After the ‘diksha’, they pledged to regularly perform ‘jap’ with mind engrossed in the supreme meaning of the ‘mantra’, observe fast once in a fortnight, eat only ‘satvik’ food and follow the golden principle of ‘Sanatan Dharma’.

Attracted by the huge number of devotees at the ‘Satsang Shivir’, about 500 foreigners also attended Bapu’s discourse on Monday evening. Sewadar and Bapu devotee from America, Deepal Patel said over one lakh Bapu’s disciples had arrived in the Mela area to attend the three-day ‘Satsang Shivir’.

After delivering the ‘diksha’, Bapu said ‘Sadguru’ enlightens a disciple with the essence of his true self, which transcends time and space and the disciple gets liberated from the cycle of birth and death.

The ‘diksha’ aspirants had travelled hundreds of miles and collected at the designated camp at 3.30 am. At least 10,000 of them stayed overnight in the camp and braved the chilly winter winds to avoid the traffic bottlenecks.

Diwali has many legends and religious accounts to it. Lights and diyas are lit to signifying the driving away of darkness and ignorance, as well as the awakening of the light within ourselves. Diwali is a time for family gatherings, food, celebration and pooja. The goddess Laxmi plays a major role in this festival, as do Ram and Sita. This autumn festival is celebrated for five continuous days, of which each one has its own significance.Houses and Business places are renovated and decorated, entrances are made colorful with lovely traditional motifs of Rangoli designs to welcome Laxmi, the Goddess of wealth and prosperity. To indicate her long awaited arrival, small footprints are drawn with rice flour and vermilion powder (kumkum) all over the houses. Lamps are kept burning all through the nights. The house is kept clean and rangoli is drawn at the doorstep to welcome Goddess Laxmi. For the best time for puja, a pandit is consulted. The general things needed for a diwali puja are silver and gold coins, suparis, uncooked Rice, paan leaves, kumkum for applying tilak, mithaai (Indian sweets), camphor, agarbattis (incense sticks), dry fruit (almonds, cashews), flower petals and Lakshmi-Ganesh icon. Deepavali Pooja is performed in the evenings when tiny diyas of clay are lit to drive away the shadows of evil spirits. Bhajans are sung in praise of the goddess and sweets are offered to her. Deepavali Puja consists of a combined pooja of five deities: Ganesha is worshipped at the beginning of every auspicious act as Vighnaharta; Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped in her three forms Mahalakshmi,the goddess of wealth and money, Mahasaraswati, the goddess of books and learning and Mahakali. Kuber, the treasurer of the gods is also worshipped.

Drink 1.25 liters of water (4 glasses), which has been kept overnight, early morning before sunrise & before brushing the teeth. Don’t eat & drink for 45 min. of course you wash & brush, after drinking. Do not exercise for 30 min. While following this treatment one can drink water only 2 hrs after meals. 16th Sep, 2006 (Saturday) is astrologically calculated and predicted to be the most beneficial day for spiritual aspirants. The day has Maha anndra Nakshatra in the Surya Rashi. The special feature of this day will be it's splendid bestowing grace for growth in mantra siddhi or mantra accomplishment. Just the chant of Pranav mantra ( Omkar mantra (" Om")) will be crore times fruitful on this day. By the blessings of his divine holiness Sai Asaramji Bapu, all are requested to kindly take as much benefit on this day by fasting, observing maun (silence) and chanting the mantra for as long as possible throughout the day. This year Ganesh-Chaturthi falls on the 27th of August, 2006. It is extremely harmful to look at the Moon on Ganesh-Chaturthi. Therefore be very careful not to look at the moon on that night.
If one happens to look at the Moon on the night of Ganesh-Chaturthi, then no matter how innocent one is, one will definitely be defamed.

Usage and valuable information about 108 beads in JAAP MALA

One of the students at IIT Kanpur, did some research on significance of the no. 108. I think its a usefull piece of information for all:

• How many beads to you have in a maala?
• Why do saints (sadhus) prefix 108 before their name like Shri Shri 108..?
• And why is 108 given so much importance in religion in particular ?

This is a common question that I am often faced with when people come to take my guidance. So I decided to search the answer in numerology and spiritualism.
In numerology, number 1 is ruled by Sun, 0 by the power of Almighty and 8 by Saturn. Sun symbolizes the spiritual aspect of life. Saturn symbolizes the worldly and material aspect of life and almighty denotes perfection and salvation.

Now a question arises why the number is 108 and not 801 or 180 or 810?

The ancient Indians were excellent mathematicians and 108 may be the product of a precise mathematical operation (e.g. 1 power 1 x 2 power 2 x 3 power 3 = 1 x 4 x 27 = 108) which was thought to have special numerological significance.There are 54 letters in the Sanskrit alphabet. Each has masculine and feminine, shiva and shakti. 54 times 2 is 108.The chakras, in human body, are the intersections of energy lines, and there are a total of 108 energy lines converging to form the heart chakra. One of them, sushumna leads to the crown chakra, and is said to be the path to Self-realization.

Marmas or marmastanas are like energy intersections called chakras, except have fewer energy lines converging to form them. There are said to be 108 marmas in the subtle body.Some say there are 108 feelings, with 36 related to the past, 36 related to the present, and 36 related to the future. There are 12 constellations, and 9 arc segments called namshas or > chandrakalas. 9 times 12 equals 108. In a horoscope, there are 12 houses and 9 planets. 12 times 9 equals 108.

There were said to be 108 gopis of Lord Krishna.In the Jain religion, 108 are the combined virtues of five categories of holy ones, including 12, 8, 36, 25, and 27 virtues respectively.Sikh tradition has a mala of 108 knots tied in a string of wool, rather than beads.It is believed that Atman, the human soul goes through 108 stages on the journey.

There are 108 forms of dance in the Indian traditions.There are 108 Upanishads as per the list contained in the Muktikopanishad.My search continued and soon I got the answer. According to Vedas, the universe was created by five elements: space, air, fire, water and earth. From these elements came the three attributes:Raj (birth), Sat (protection) and Tam (destruction or death). Â Perfection or salvation can be attained if there is a perfect balance between the three. Similarly, if analyzed, the number 108 contains 1, which stands for the birth, 0 stands for protection and completeness in spiritual practice, and 8 stands for destruction or death.108 is actually the numerical value of the Almighty's power of perfection. It signifies Radha and Krishna, Sita and Ram.

 I concluded this when I came across the phonetic values given by the great Mathematician Aryabhatta. Substituting his numerical values of the alphabets in Radheshyam or Sitaram we get a total of 108.108 symbolises a perfect combination of the social and the spiritual world. The sum of 108 is 9, which is the number of completion. In numerology I have observed that number 9 is a universal number and signifies completion and salvation. It is really strange but most of the human activities revolve round number 9 " a child normally takes 9 months in the mothers' womb, we breath 72 times in a minute and so on.All the multiples of number 9 add up to 9 when each digit is separately added. This shows yet another characteristic of Number 9. Number 9 is the number that has the potential to absorb everything. All vices and good deeds are absorbed in it.Thus, I conclude that 108 is actually a number of ultimate happiness, perfect compatibility and everything in its perfect form.Writing or reciting a mantra 108 times makes it a complete series and helps the devotee in getting closer to God : the ultimate truth

Bhoot Pret Jaisi vyadhiya door karne ka mantra

('tam' - beej mantra given by Pujya Shree)

‘tam’ is a beej mantra, representing chandradeva, the presiding deity of the Moon. The japa of this mantra is just enough to do away with the sudden impediment inflicting your life.

Write ‘tam’ on a piece of ‘Bhojpatra and insert it into an amulet. Then put this amulet on your right hand. This will remove all sorts of obstacles out of your way.

Just wear an amulet having in it the mantra, ‘tam’ written eleven times on a piece of paper. This helps in cases of deficiency of calcium, poor lactation among women and also comes in handy in soothing a fretting child.
